Fabian & Lola
With over 30 years of professional experience, Fabian is one of the most influential personalities of the history of Tango.
In 1995 he started an investigation group which led to the development of a revolutionary way of understanding, teaching and dancing the tango. In 1996, Fabian took part in the filming of the motion picture "Evita", and a year later was one of the main dancers in the award-winning film "The Tango Lesson".
He is also the organizer and director of the CITA (Congreso Internacional de Tango Argentino) the world's most important and longest running annual tango festival, which brings together tango lovers, practitioners and leading tango artists in the Argentine capital.
In 2015 he was awarded Outstanding Personality of Culture, due to his distinctive approach to the dance. In 2018 he received the Premios Tango award to Master of the Year.
Lola studied ballet at the famous Teatro Colón,
where she became a dancer of the permanent staff from 1999 to 2002. During that time she also danced ballet under the direction of world-renowned dancer Julio Bocca. She participated in a number of tango productions, including dancing with Pablo Veron in La Hora del Tango (Festival Classico Pompeiano 2007), being assistant choreographer and dancing the principal role with Pablo Verón for the short film Nexus (2007), and being principal dancer and choreographer for the short film Tango Hereje (2006). In addition to international tours and festivals with Fabian, she also used to teach at the famous tango school La Viruta in Buenos Aires.
They have successfully taught Tango to thousands of students in Argentina, Brazil, USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia, Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, UK, Italy, Spain, France, Germany, Switzerland, Belgium, Norway, Finland, Russia, Greece, Turkey, and other countries.
